Men get Hoor in Jannah .... But.......What Do We Get
Men get Hoor in Jannah....But what about us women....... what do we get ??

That is a question that we come across many times and actually, that is something a lot of us ask. In fact, just the other day, someone asked me the very same question.

To that sister and others who may have this question up their mind, I say....

My dear sister.....first of all Jannah and Jahannum (and Hoor AlEen, for that matter) and all what happens in them are matters of the Hereafter. These are a part of the realm of the Unseen of which we have very limited perception. Such matters are beyond our understanding and cannot be known by reasoning and thinking and we have really no knowledge of these things except what the Quraan and the authentic Sunnah tell us.
All we do is to believe in such matters of the Unseen, while remembering that its realities are known only to Allaah.
And actually, one should not really get into the details or indulge in discussions of the matters of the unseen without knowledge, because there is really no benefit in that. Rather if such a question comes up, we should say Allaah knows best.
As Allaah says:
“And follow not (i.e., say not, or do not, or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allaah)”
(Surah al-Isra :36)
And, dear sister, from whatever limited knowledge we do have about Jannah that Allaah and His Messenger (sal Allaahu Alayhi wa Sallam) have informed us, there are a few points that we, as believing women, should remember, when questions such as these pop up in our heads.

1. Allaah is Most-Just and the Most-Merciful
The first and foremost thing to remember is that this is Allaah, Rab ul Aalameen we are talking about here.
Subhaan Allaah.
Remember that He is ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem, the One who is Just and there is no one more just than Him....
And He is the One who is Fair and there is no one who is more fair than Him!!
He will never ever let you down or be unfair to you. If He has promised the men of Jannah Hoor AlEen, then surely He will give the believing women of Jannah something equally pleasing too. There is no way that He will favor the men over the women, aoodhu billaah. Subhaanahu wa Taala.
"If any do deeds of righteousness, be they male or female, and have faith, they will enter Jannah, and not the least injustice will be done to them." (Surah an-Nisa:124)

2. Allaah created men and women differently
Another thing to remember is that what pleases women may be different from what pleases men. And everybody knows that. So wouldnt He, Who created us in the first place know that better than anybody else?
"Shall He who has created (all things) not know? He is the Subtle, the Aware." (Surah Mulk: 14)
So have this firm belief in Him, and have blind trust in Him, Subhaanahu Wa Taala....He, who knows us women and our nature best and He, who will give the women of Jannah whatever will please her the best.
“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire"
(Surah Fussilat:31- 32)

3. In Jannah the righteous woman will be married to her husband and she will be pleased with that
Allaah will marry the believing women to their husbands of the dunya if they were righteous and make them pleased with that. That IS what they would desire. They wouldnt want any one else.
And if a woman did not get married during her worldly life, or if her husband was not from the people of Jannah, then Allaah will marry her to one of the believing men in Jannah. The women will live with their husband and children and families in their own realms in Paradise, and they will be so content with that.
"Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring." (Surah ar-Rad: 23)
"Enter the Garden, you and your wives, you will be made glad. There will be brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and therein is all that the souls desire and eyes find sweet and you will stay there forever. This is the garden, which you are made to inherit because of what you used to do. Therein for you is fruit in plenty whence to eat." (Az-Zukhruf 43: 70-73)

Ibn Katheer said: “ they (the women of Jannah) lower their gaze and avoid looking at men other than their husband, so they do not think that there is anything in Paradise that is more handsome than their husbands. This was stated by Ibn Abbaas, Qataadah, Ata al-Khuraasaani and Ibn Zayd.
And it was narrated that one of them will say to her husband: By Allaah I do not think that there is anything in Paradise finer than you, or that there is anything in Paradise dearer to me than you; praise be to Allaah Who has made you for me and made me for you."
(Tafseer al-Quraan al-Azeem).

4. In Jannah there will be no jealousy
Remember,my sister, that life in Jannah will be nothing like life here in this world. It is a different world that has nothing in common with this world except names only; the realities of things are completely different.
Pleasures and feelings that we experience here in this life will be experienced in a different and much better and purer way. We will eat and drink but there will be no filth or dirt. Our bodies will not excrete wastes nor will we grow old. And not only our physical bodies, but our psychology and nature will be different also.
“And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury...." (Surah al-Araaf:43)
The Prophet (sal Allaahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said: “The first group to enter Paradise will look like the moon when it is full. They will not spit or blow their noses or defecate therein. Their vessels and combs will be of gold and silver, their incense burners will be of aloeswood and their sweat will be musk. Each of them will have two wives, the marrow of whose calves will be visible from beneath the flesh because of their beauty. There will be no dissent or enmity among them and their hearts will be as one, and they will glorify Allaah morning and evening.” (al-Bukhaari, Muslim)
He also said: “they will not envy one another.” (Bukhaari)

So even if the men will have Hoor AlEen, we will not be jealous. Yes, it seems hard at this time, but it is just as hard to imagine eating and drinking without any excretion, although it is surely true. So rest assured...there will be love and peace and no jealousy.
Besides, think about it....Isnt the One capable of making you the way you are in this world with all your jealousy and the other 'womanly' feelings, capable of making you without jealousy in the Hereafter??! ! Of course He is!
Rejoice, O sister, the believing women will be better than the Hoor AlEen
Yes that's right. Read the quote below, my sister, and rejoice!
"The situation of the believing woman in Jannah will be better than the situation of the hoor al-iyn; she will be higher in status and more beautiful."
Several ahaadeeth and reports have been narrated concerning that, but none of them can be proven to be sound. But, if a righteous woman from among the people of this world enters Paradise, then she will do so as a reward for her righteous deeds and as a honor from Allaah to her for her religious commitment and righteousness.
As for the hoori who is one of the delights of Paradise, she has only been created in Paradise for the sake of someone else, and has been made the reward for the believing man for his righteous deeds.

There is a great difference between one who enters Paradise as a reward for her righteous deeds and the one who was created as a reward for one who did righteous deeds. The former is a queen and a princess, and the latter, no matter how beautiful she is, is undoubtedly lower in status than a queen, and she is subject to the command of her believing master for whom Allaah created her as a reward." Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen said regarding this matter:
"It seems to me that the women of this world will be better than the hoor al-iyn, even in outward appearance, and Allaah knows best." (Fataawa Noor ala al-Darb).
Logically speaking.... ..Wouldnt you rather be beautiful ??
When we look at ourselves and our nature, we realize Allaahs infinite Wisdom and Justice in the way He has created us. It is in our very nature that most of us women are generally pleased with and devoted to only one man.
Ask yourself this or any woman out there you know, this question and you would know what I mean. Ask them....
"What would you rather be......be extremely beautiful with one loving husband or be ordinary looking with several husbands ??!!
I am sure there will not be very many women out there who would pick the second choice...!!!
We have no right to question to Allaah
Actually, if you think about it, we have no right to question Allaah in whatever He does, how He does it and when He does it. We should not question Allaahs wisdom in making us in the nature we are now or in re-creating us in the nature we will have in the future. We know that He is generous and merciful, and we have to trust Him.
He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. He is the Just and He knows Best.

AND, for arguments sake, EVEN IF, in His Infinite Wisdom, Allaah chooses to give men Hoor AlEen and the women absolutely nothing, so be it. Know firmly, in your heart and believe unshakably in your mind, that, this is what was better for you. Know that He will NEVER be unfair to you and He will give you ONLY and ONLY if He pleases. And He will withhold from you, ONLY and ONLY if you deserve it.
Where is our trust in the Almighty??
The real focus
Instead of worrying about what Allaah has promised men and competing with them, we should focus on how to serve Him and worship Him better. We should try to improve our relationship with Him so that we may hope for His generous reward and forgiveness, so that out of His Mercy, He may enter us in Jannah.

Think about it, sister, if we learn all the details of what life in Jannah will be like and what rewards women will get, but fail to worship and serve Him the way He and His Messenger have taught us to.... then our knowledge is pretty useless, isnt it...?
If you are among those women who leave this world having won the pleasure of Allaah, then good news to you, my sister. When you enter Jannah you will have delights and pleasures such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard and no mind has ever imagined. You will have all that you wish for in the best of ways. You will be more beautiful than you can ever imagine, with a status higher than you can ever conceive and happier than you have ever been, content with your husband and family. Everything that you will ask for will be granted, and everything that you long for, you will get. You will never find anything to upset or disturb you, or make you jealous for you will be in the care of the Most Generous, Most Merciful.
What more could you ask for.... ?

I had a few questions in my mind for quite a long time... so I hope you will help me to find the answers inshallah.... and pls give some references from the quran and hadith of our Prophet (SW), if possible.
1. If a woman keeps a fast and her menses start between the day, should she break the fast or continue it? If she doesnt break is she commiting a sin? If she continues the fast will her fast be accepted because of her intentions?
2. Is it ok to recite verses of the Quran during menses , of course the verses are previously memorized and recited without touching the quran?
3. If any man(except brother, husband, son, father) sees me while I am praying will my prayer be nullified? I read somewhere that if any man sees a woman praying her prayer as well as her ablution will be nullified.
How justified is this Fatwa?

Dearest sister, thank you for your question, I dont have knowledge to give fatwah, but I will try to answer you with what I knew.. in sha Allah hope this will benefit you...

 

1- Re during fasting, her blood starts :

If a woman gets her period while fasting, her fast is spoiled, even if the blood comes a moment before sunset, and she has to make that up if it was an obligatory fast. It is haraam for her to continue fasting when she is menstruating. Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in al-Majmoo’ (2/386): 

The ummah is unanimously agreed that it is haraam for women who are menstruating or bleeding following childbirth to fast and that their fast is not valid… The ummah is also unanimously agreed that it is obligatory for these women to make up missed Ramadaan fasts. Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn al-Mundhir, Ibn Jareer, our companions and others narrated that there was consensus on this point. Ibn Qudaamah said in al-Mughni (4/397): 

The scholars are unanimously agreed that it is not permissible for women who are menstruating or bleeding following childbirth to fast, and that they should not fast in Ramadaan but should make up missed fasts. If they do fast, their fast is not accepted. ‘

Aa’ishah said: “We used to menstruate at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and we were commanded to make up the fasts, but we were not commanded to make up the prayers.” Agreed upon. 

The one who commanded them thus was the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Abu Sa’eed said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Is it not the case that when one of you menstruates, she does not pray or fast? That is what is meant by lacking in religious commitment.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari. 

Menstruating women and women who are bleeding following childbirth are regarded as the same, because the blood of nifaas is like the blood of menstruation, so it comes under the same rulings. If menstruation starts during the day, the fast of that day is invalidated, whether it starts at the beginning of the day or at the end.

If a menstruating woman intends to fast and refrains from eating or drinking, even though she knows that that is haraam, she is committing a sin, and that fast does not count. 

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said in his essay al-Dima’ al-Tabee’iyyah li’l-Nisa’ (p.28): 

If a woman menstruates when she is fasting, her fast is invalidated even if that is a moment just before sunset, and she has to make up that day if it was an obligatory fast. 

If she feels that her period is about to begin but nothing comes out until after sunset, then her fast is complete and is not invalidated, according to the correct view. 

The Standing Committee (10/155) was asked about a woman who fasted and shortly before sunset and before the adhaan, her period came. Is her fast valid? 

They replied: if her period came before sunset her fast is invalid and she has to make it up. If it came after sunset
then her fast is valid and she does not have to make it up.

2- Can a woman read Quran during menstration?

This is one of the issues on which the scholars, may Allaah have mercy on them, differed.
The majority of fuqahaa’ say that it is haraam for a woman to recite Qur’aan during her period, until she is taahir (pure) again. The only exceptions they make is in the case of dhikr (remembrance of Allaah) and phrases that are not intended as tilaawah (recitation), such as saying “Bismillaahi’r-Rahmaani’r-Raheem” or “Innaa Lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji’oon”, or other phrases from the Qur’aan which are repeated as general du’aa’s.
They base their evidence for forbidding menstruating women to recite Qur’aan on several things, including the following:Menstruation is seen as coming under the rulings that apply to one who is junub (in a state of impurity following sexual intercourse), because both states require ghusl.

This is based on the hadeeth narrated by ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him), according to which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to teach the Qur’aan and he never prevented anyone from learning it except those who were in a state of janaabah (impurity).” (Reported by Abu Dawood, 1/281; al-Tirmidhi, 146; al-Nisaa’i, 1/144; Ibn Maajah, 1/207; Ahmad, 1/84; Ibn Khuzaymah [??], 1/104. Al-Tirmidhi said: a saheeh hasan hadeeth. Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said: the truth is that it is the type of hasan hadeeth that could be used as evidence).

The hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both), according to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The menstruating woman and the one who is in a state of impurity (janaabah) should not recite anything of the Qur’aan.” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, 131; Ibn Maajah, 595; al-Daaraqutni (1/117); al-Bayhaqi, 1/89. This is a da’eef hadeeth, because it was reported by Ismaa’eel ibn ‘Ayyaash from the Hijaazis, and his reports from them are da’eef as is well known to those who are conversant with the study of hadeeth. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said (21/460): it is a da’eef hadeeth by the unanimous agreement of the scholars of hadeeth. See Nasb al-Raayah, 1/195; al-Talkhees al-Habeer, 1/183)

Some scholars say that it is permitted for a menstruating woman to recite Qur’aan. This is the opinion of Maalik, and one opinion narrated from Ahmad, which Ibn Taymiyah preferred and which al-Shawkaani believed to be correct.The scholars based the following points on this opinion:The principle is that things are allowed and permitted unless there is evidence to the contrary. There is no such evidence to say that a menstruating woman is not allowed to recite Qur’aan.Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said: “There is no clear, saheeh text to indicate that a menstruating woman is forbidden to recite Qur’aan… It is known that women used to menstruate at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and he did not forbid them to recite Qur’aan, or to remember Allaah (dhikr) and offer du’aa’.”Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, commands (Muslims) to recite Qur’aan. He praises the one who does so, and promises him (or her) a great reward. No one is excluded from this except the one concerning whom there is solid evidence (daleel), and there is no such evidence in the case of menstruating women, as stated above.

The analogy between the menstruating woman and the one who is in a state of janaabah is made despite the fact that there are differences between them. The one who is in a state of janaabah has the option of removing the “barrier” by making ghusl, unlike the menstruating woman. A woman’s period usually lasts for some length of time, whereas the person who is in a state of janaabah is required to do ghusl when the time for prayer comes.

Preventing a menstruating woman from reciting Qur’aan deprives her of the chance to earn reward, and it may make her forget something of the Qur’aan, or she may need to recite it for the purposes of teaching or learning.

From the above, it is clear that the evidence of those who allow a menstruating woman to recite Qur’aan is stronger. If a woman wants to err on the side of caution, she can limit her recitation to the passages which she is afraid of forgetting.

It is very important to note that what we have been discussing here is restricted to what a menstruating woman recites from memory.

When it comes to reading from the Mus-haf (the Arabic text itself), a different rule applies. The correct view of the scholars is that it is forbidden to touch the mus-haf when one is in any kind of state of impurity, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “… which none can touch except the purified.” [al-Waaqi’ah 56:79].

In a letter to ‘Amr ibn Hazm, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told the people of Yemen: “No one should touch the Qur’aan except one who is taahir (pure).” (Reported by Maalik, 1/199; al-Nisaa’i, 8/57; Ibn Hibbaan, 793; al-Bayhaqi, 1/87. Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said: A group of scholars classed this hadeeth as saheeh because it is so well known.

Al-Shaafi’i said: It is proven by them that it was a letter sent by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr said: “This letter is famous among the scholars of seerah, and is so well known among the scholars that it does not need an isnaad. It is like tawaatur because the people accepted and recognized it. Shaykh al-Albani said that its is saheeh. Al-Talkhees al-Habeer, 4/17. See also: Nasb al-Raayah, 1/196; Irwaa’ al-Ghaleel, 1/158).

Dear sister, this is very strange saying which I did not hear before, because if you read the history, you will know many believers women used to pray behind prophet, and speically to pray outdoor during Eid prayers, also during the Hajj , how can women hide to pray without any men to see her prayer in masjid Haram during Hajj? 

 that means men will see the women, if the prayer wont be valid or it is forbidden , why will prophet order the women even the menstrated one to go and witness the supplications of believers. ( if the women are praying with full covered ,there is no problem for men to see them ? and men see the women well covered during the prayers is not a condition to invalidate their prayers, we prayed so many time outdoor with my family.why will that invalidate our prayers? people who said that must have evidence to support, kindly check where did u read that and where is there Daleel (evidence?)

 

Enclosed are for your reference for Eid prayers

 

A) The Eid prayer is wajib according to the majority of scholars (Ahmad, Shaf'I, Abu Hanifa).

 

'Umm 'Atiyya reports the Prophet commanded,
"The Prophet commanded the free women, the virgins, and the menstruating women to go out to attend the Eid prayer and witness the good and the supplications of the believers.

 

As for the menstruating women, they should stay away from the musalla (i.e. they should not pray). I said, "O Messenger of Allah, one of us does not have a jilbaab." The Prophet said, "Let her borrow the jilbaab of her sister." (Bukhari, Muslim, etc)

This hadith shows the following:

(a) Eid prayer is obligatory.

(b) All women, young, old, or menstruating must attend it in the musalla. Menstruating women do not pray of course but they join in the khutba and du'a. If Eid prayer is held in a masjid then they stay outside without entering the masjid hall, listen to the khutba and join in the du'a.

(c) The women must wear a jilbaab when they come to the prayer, be they young or old. It is wajib to wear it. Why? The Prophet commanded women to attend Eid prayer who did not have a jilbabb presented it as an excuse. The Prophet did not tell her to come anyways without jilbabb, but he instructed her to borrow it from her sister
